10-Strike SearchMyDiscs is designed for maintaining collections of CDs and other file resources, generating reports and making the information search on local disks much easier.
If you are tired of having to searching through piles of CDs every time you need some information - this program is for you! Spend just one evening on scanning dozens or hundreds of your disks, and you will start saving your valuable time!

Main features:

  • Stores information on disks' and folders' file structure (including archives: zip, rar, arj, cab, sfx).
  • Organizes disks into groups by subject for more convenient displaying and searching of information. The same disk may belong to more than one group.
  • Stores and edits file and folder description in the catalog. Supports the readme, file_id.diz, and txt descriptions; MP3 tags; avi, exe, dll, jpg, gif, bmp, png, tiff file properties.
  • Stores image thumbnails.
  • Browses and searches for files and folders on the disks of your collection without getting the disks from their envelopes, loading them into your computer, and having to view the disks one by one.
  • Generates reports in the formats txt and html (e.g. to show your friends all the MP3 disks you have).
  • Creates and maintains the tree-like catalog of the CDs' files and folders (for instance, create your own software archive with programs grouped by category and type).
  • Creates and browses large collections of hundreds of disks without overusing your computer's memory.
  • Operates under Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008.

SearchMyDiscs 3.7 released. Added support for multiple scans of the same folders (you can select whether you want to refresh a folder's content or to create a new copy of the folder). Added importing folders with the same paths. Now you can create a database of local disks (and removable disks) of all your computers and search files in the database. Updated MSdcRAW.dll for scanning RAW files. Added support for new digital cameras.
